Meet the Founders

Nate and Jennifer Holcomb are the founders of HopeBridge and, first and foremost, foster and adoptive parents who have experienced firsthand both the challenges and the incredible privilege of caring for children impacted by trauma and loss.

Jennifer brings a background in human relations, leadership, program development, and ministry, along with a passion for trauma-informed care and whole-child development. She holds a Master’s in Human Relations and is pursuing a doctorate in Christian Leadership and Educational Ministries. Her work has included ministry leadership, foster and adoptive family support, program development, and developing innovative ways to help children and families thrive.

Nate is a United States Army veteran who served for seven years, including a deployment to Afghanistan. He served as an Army Captain before being honorably discharged. His military experience shaped his commitment to service, leadership, responsibility, and caring for others.

Together, Jennifer and Nate share a deep belief that children need more than services—they need safe relationships, belonging, consistency, and a community committed to their healing.

Their experience as foster and adoptive parents, combined with their professional backgrounds and Christian faith, led them to dream about something bigger: a community where vulnerable children and families can find safety, connection, healing, and hope.

That dream became HopeBridge.

Bridging Hope. Building Families. Transforming Lives.
