Helping Adults See the Story Behind the Behavior
What if the behavior that frustrates us most is actually communicating a need?
What if a child who is defiant isn't simply being difficult—but is overwhelmed?
What if a child who pushes people away has learned that relationships aren't safe?
What if instead of asking, "What's wrong with this child?", we learned to ask, "What happened to this child, and what does this child need from me?"
HopeBridge provides trauma-informed and TBRI®-based training designed to equip parents, caregivers, churches, schools, and agencies to better understand children impacted by trauma and respond in ways that promote connection, regulation, trust, and healing.
Our goal isn't simply to change behavior.
Our goal is to help adults become safer, more connected people so children can experience safety, belonging, and hope.
What We Offer
Intro to TBRI®
A practical introduction to Trust-Based Relational Intervention® and the principles of connecting, empowering, and correcting. Participants will learn how trauma and disrupted attachment can affect a child's brain, behavior, relationships, and ability to regulate.
TBRI® Caregiver Training
Designed for foster, adoptive, kinship, and other caregivers who want practical tools for parenting children from hard places. We focus on understanding behavior, building connection, meeting developmental needs, promoting regulation, and responding to challenging behaviors without sacrificing relationship.
School-Based TBRI® & Whole-Child Training
In partnership with TCU's Liink Center for Healthy Play, HopeBridge seeks to help schools create environments where children can regulate, connect, learn, and thrive.
Rather than viewing behavior as simply a classroom management problem, we help educators consider the developmental, relational, sensory, and emotional needs underneath the behavior.
